And I know there are other Beaman-Godwin connections. Rachel Godwin (my ancestor) also sold land to Ozias Beaman in Sampson County. I've never heard of Ozius Beaman, but you already have my ancestry report to William Godwin that we are trying to connect to the North Carolina Godwins. Well, ironically, another ancestor of mine happens to be Weathly Beaman (5th great-grandmother) born 1785 in Montgomery County NC. She married Zachariah Collinsworth and moved with my Godwins to lower Alabama!

Shirley Booth-ByerlyLuvAlabamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15612037049363662808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7077574950918175884.post-72667898955959803152009-06-21T23:42:45.340-04:002009-06-21T23:42:45.340-04:00Where is Starlings Swamp? The Deed is from John Segrest to John Keen and mentions Starling Swamp. It was witnessed by Richard Godwin and Sherod Holly. Sherwood Holley witnessed the will of my GGGGrandfather John Keen.

I read some of you Twitter posts. Did you go to the NGS convention in Raleigh. I did and enjoyed it very much, I also enjoyed the BBQ at The Pit.

You have done an amazing amount of work on your genealogy.

Take Care
Ron Keene
rekeen1@gmail.comDoughboy1https://www.blogger.com/profile/16996843340085512879noreply@blogger.com
